It’s time to end this first season on a high note with a very nice little vocabulary lesson. And for this course, I chose coffee as the main theme. Yes, coffee, great for ordering a cup of it at a Japanese cafe once you’ve learned how to make sentences. I have concocted a list of twenty-five vocabulary words to learn by heart. Many words in katakana and some new kanji. You’ll find them later in season two in example sentences and in the exercises.

There you have it, 25 vocabulary words that will be very useful to you all your life, 25 widely used words. That’s all, there isn’t much to say. I have no comment to make on the katakana words. As for the few new kanji, they are easy to remember. Practice writing them down to better memorize them.
That will be all for this course. You now have enough vocabulary to start season two with confidence. It is very likely that you will find this vocabulary in the courses on particles and the exercises which will be associated with it when I give you to formulate your first sentences in writing.
