In the first part, we saw together the names of thirty western dishes in katakana. This time, I give you forty, which will make seventy in total. You will now be able to write the most common western food names. In the list are present French pastries and pastries, others English and Portuguese as well as Italian dishes.
Some of the katakanized words are from French, I will indicate the words where they come from, of course. However, I will not indicate the names of Portuguese and Italian dishes that are obvious enough to understand. As for the few English dishes... well, I won’t specify them either. Either way, it’s generally a simple and easy course to get into.

This second and final part on Western cuisine is finally coming to an end. Before leaving you, I would like to add one last thing, two more vocabulary words to be precise. If you want to say in Japanese that a dish, pastry, bread or other was homemade, how are you going to say it? It's very simple, look at the diagram below:

Next, remember all the names of Western cakes and pies that originated in English. If we simply mean "the banana cake", "the strawberry cake", "the apple pie", "the blueberry pie"... think about the construction of words in English:
Banana + cake = Banana cake
Apple + pie = Apple pie
So in Japanese this gives us:

アップル + パイ = アップルパイ . the apple pie
