Conclusion

This is the last vocabulary course on vegetables. There won’t be any more, although I know we haven’t seen all the existing vegetables. I didn’t put "corn" or "spinach" for example, which have quite complicated names in Japanese, but if you are interested, I invite you to look them up in the dictionary.
It’s time to move on to some comments, there are some things to say about most of the words you just saw. It will be pretty quick this time.
The word "carrot", in Japanese 人参 . ニンジン is more common in katakana, like many other names of vegetables in general. White radish is a word for Asian radishes (Daikon group) with a large white root, taproot, long or round. Radish names are quite frequently written in kanji because these are not very difficult to remember. Anyway, you have to learn all the kanji that I give you.
There you have it, now you have enough to do your shopping in a Japanese market. Vegetables hold no secrets for you, I won’t come back to them again. Of course, you will find these vocabulary words in the example sentences and exercises to come in season three.
Work well.
